Contract for the Conveyance of His Majesty's Mails

Before the Semi-Official Airmail contracts were issued, the government contracted with local firms to handle the mails.  Below is a contract dated 1911 for Monday to Saturday mail delivery between Lakefield, Ontario, Canada and Young's Point, a 5.5 mile distance, for $280 per year.
